Photo Challenge/Sun Flare for iheart faces!

This weeks photo challenge, is something that I absolutely adore in photos..SUNFLARE!!! It was awfully hard for me to narrow it down to THREE...then I had to pick ONE. I clicked back and forth and contemplated which was best. And I love the "look" of Love this photo has; it is of a young military couple on their wedding day! I hope that they are safe in Japan where they both moved to in February! I pray they are!!

I took this while we went to the beach during our "warm spell" and it just reminded me of how care free little ones are, and the simplest moments mean so much! I had to share :)

St. Patrick's Day Mini-Session with Kylie!!

Kylie is the cutest little 9 month old girl EVER. She is full of smiles, and SO quiet. If I could be gauranteed to have a baby like her, I would have TWINS! She has such a sweet spirit, she MUST get it from her mother, who is also AWESOME!

Sweet Baby Rae

This little baby and I bonded so well during her session. She only pee'd on me once, and that was when we were all done! She was holding it in for me :) She stayed so still and quiet, and while she was awake, she enjoyed me talking to her..Mom even let me feed her a bottle! Great job Mom on the breast-feeding, KEEP IT UP! A beautiful start to a wonderful family

Day 15/365

Hubby leaves tomorrow morning, and we were helping him pack...We wouldnt fit in the bag, so we had to put his clothes back in :( He is leaving us for Afghanistan for 6 long months to fight a war that isn't ours, but when duty calls...he has to go..he has been blessed to return 5 times before, and with all the prayers and faith we have..he will return for the 6th! He just re-inlisted for another 5 years, so we will see where those years take us! Thank you Tim for being the best Father and Husband, and for being such a brave soldier! God has his hand on you, and you will be fine..Dont worry about me, it will be tough without you, but I am a strong woman, and I can make it through!! I LOVE YOU

Day 15/365 Daddy...dont go!

Day 13/365 being creative with Omari

Our 9 year-old Omari is so talented. He needs to be in theater and should also be an artitst or art teacher! He comes up with the most awesome ideas. I gave him a hint of what I was going for...and he took it away!! Thanks bud..

Day 12/365 James to the rescue!!!

Timmy (the 2 year old) is obessed with Thomas the choo choo train (as if you couldnt tell in an earlier post) so he had James sitting on the counter and told me to take a picture of him...so I am sharing him as our day 12 photo!!

Day 11/365 Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil...ROCK ON!

I was working in a new office today..and being "out of my element" I saw some very tiny little things that seemed to make my day a little brighter...these little guys were taped to the other nurses desks and the desk that I was working at..I took the pics on everyone elses lunch break so they wouldnt think I was nuts...I couldnt resist!! The little "Rock-on" monkey is my fav...tongue hangin out and all!! Hope they brought a smile to your face as they did mine

Day 10/365 frozen in time!!

SOOOO...on my way to work in the mornings, I just so happen to drive by this house that ALWAYS has these beautiful icicles in their yard! In Florida, this isnt something we see all to often, and I am sure it occured from running the sprinklers at night so their pipes wouldnt "freeze"...I FINALLY had the camera in the car for this one, so I pulled over and started snapping...and the people that owned the house turned their sprinklers on while I was taking pics!! I am sure it was due to me being in their yard without their permission, but I was not close to their house...still trespassing though I guess :( SORRY PEOPLE...but it was a great shot :)

Day 9/365 a sunset drive-by...

On our way home from work and school ALMOST everyday...we encounter this beautiful siite! I usually end up wanting to kick myself for not having the Nikon with me...but my trusty ol' iPhone works good for on-the-go shots!! Here is a view of Navarre Beach which is about 1 1/2miles from my home..Got to love it!!

Day 8/365 ridin' with Timmy...

So our two-year-old Timmy is SUCH a handfull!! He is always wanting something, and recently it was the Thomas the Train sunglasses at the FAMOUS WAL-MART..Each and every time he puts them on...his saying is "Cool Dude"....ENJOY!

Day 7/365 a relaxing, COLD nature walk.....

This is an AMAZING stump we came across while walking along a nature trail that I have wanted to visit for YEARS now, and have passed by HUNDREDS of times!! Found so many beautiful sights here, from dew dropped spider webs, to tiny streams that glistned with the suns glow!! This was my fav of the day...the heart shaped stump!!

Day 6/365

SO..Today my husband and I are starting "The Love Dare" although he is leaving in T-minus 10 days...I thought now is as good as a time as any to start putting God in the forefront of our marriage! So today is day one, and I thought what a perfect day 6 photo!! Enjoy!!

Day 5/365 "Just how I like it"

Iced Caramel Latte' half-caff, non-fat milk, add LOADS of whip cream and a carmel drizzle!!! Nuff said :)

Saw this on my way home after a wrong turn...and HAD to stop! Can you blame me? Can't wait to put this spot to use on a session!! What a way to find spots :)

This was hubby's idea. He wanted to measure the kids in the doorway and when he returns we will measure them again to see how much they have grown! Thanks daddy!

Day 2/365 Project

This is a photo taken as my littlest one and I were on a walk outside with his new four-wheeler bike! Enjoy his smile!! I dont get it often :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2010 is behind us, but the memories will remain FOREVER as ALWAYS! In this new year, I have decided to take on a new endeavor to help me pass at least the first half of the year! As many of you that know me, know that my husband has to leave us again for a 6 month deployment in Baghram, Afghanistan. This is his 6th deployment since his joining the USAF and he has come back safe and sound from each one, so LOTS of prayers are appreciated to being him home to us again!! SOOOO...The new endeavor is the "365 day project" I am going to choose ONE photo EVERYDAY to document a year in the life if our family! I am not sure what the "theme title" should be..But for now, it is just moments caught in time...AH HA!! "A moment caught in time" will be my theme name!! How random right? Funny how things work..Anyhow, while I am going to be in single parent mode for the next few months, my sessions will have to be at a bare minimum, so if you would like your session booked, contact me ASAP for a phone consultation so we can get you scheduled before someone else takes your spot!!
